A CHRISTMAS CARD WITH LOTS OF EMBELLISHMENTS

Since the sad demise of Craftbubble, a few of my crafty pals keep in touch to set the odd challenge and swap chat. This month's challenge is to make a Christmas card with lots of embellishments so out came the lovely acrylic snowflakes and the gems and pearls. The paper is out of my scrap box and if memory serves is by SEI. What a find! I had enough to do the inside and the outside of the card - Huzah!! I glossied up the berries on the image and called it job done.


Love the way the glossy accents bring out those berries and give them dimension.

    I love this card for so many reasons. Of course you can't go wrong with HM and these are the prettiest, most delicate snowflakes I've seen in a long time. The black mat for your focal image really makes it pop and the paper is beautiful. A total winner in my book.

    Woo Hoo indeed, what a perfectly SPLENDID card and I see a few of those super iridescent snowflakes have been sacrificed for the sake of this project too!!

    None of the above I'm afraid Miss Rosie. Very unusually for me this one is printed off a CD so no colouring required. I have to say, without wishing to cause offence, that I don't enjoy using pre-printed images at all. I much prefer to do my own colouring but this image is wayyyy to lovely to waste so I glossied it up a little and here it is in all it's glory. There's no point cutting of your nose to spite your face is there :oD
