BE MERRY - DP2 CHALLENGE #225 - PLENTY OF EMBELLIES

I don't know WHY I'm in the mood to make Christmas cards but I am so I'm going to just go with it. I love these little Mo Manning Fairies and couldn't resist the lovely Mimm. I EVEN broke out some of my very precious clear snowflakes that the lovely Kathy (very kindly) brings me back from the U.S. when she sees them. If it looks like I've thrown everything at this card; it's probably because I have. This is most definitely a MORE IS MORE creation!!

Once again, I used my fave colour combination and I found these gorgeous resin flowers when I was rummaging through my embellishment box.

I've only had them for about three years so you're lucky to see it ACTUALLY STUCK ON a card. I've given myself a talking to about using stuff. It's got to be done. I can't hold on to it all forever (okay, okay, I'm not THAT brave; I've got two more for stroking tucked away in my stash... baby steps bloggers... baby steps ;oD)

Have a great day.

  1. Well, I am so impressed that you sacrificed NOT ONLY two of those fabby snowflakes but also a resin flower - you probably need a lie down in a darkened room now, as a result but .... sooooooooooooooooooo worth it - this is LUSH! Who could fail to be merry with a card like that?!

  3. This is such an awesome card. very well done for parting with the snowflakes and resin flower. they have definitely been put to good use. Love the papers too- reminded me I should get mine out....
I'm doing the same 'self talk' exercise (re stash). It IS so hard to use things that you have held onto for ages, but it has to be done... I think (?) ;-)
