Having wintered at the bottom of the garden in the shade of the trees and honeysuckle, it's time to move the chickens under the lilac tree for Spring. I'm hoping they will clear the ground a bit and feed the tree while they're doing it iykwim
Here they are making the most of their freedom while we dismantled the run...
Ethel is missing from the group... I suspect she is in the undergrowth shredding some innocent young plant...
Uh oh that's another one gone AWOL. This is where I decided it was time to put down the camera and FIND THOSE PESKY CHICKENS!!!
Great to be out in the garden again and I hear tell the sunny weather is set to continue...woohoo!

makes such a difference! Hope you found those beaky beggars x
ReplyDeleteStop that chicken! Shredding innocent plants? Surely not ..... except that I know from previous spring/summers that this IS what they do best!!! Good luck with rounding up the Evil Beakies!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a lovely day here too though I feel sure it's time to bring in the washing before it starts to get all damp again!!!!
