I seem to be making a habit of squeaking in my Dragons Dream TIO Entry at the very last minute don't I. Tsk Tsk... I really must try harder. Truth be told I made my tag on Sunday but by the time I came to photograph it on Monday morning I'd gone right off it. I realised the tag I'd used was too big so that all my pieces were rattling around a bit. I decided to cut my losses and start again this morning and I'm much happier with it...
Obviously I went for the phrase "On Cloud Nine"
I LOVE the puffer fish balloon. He's one of my all time favourite PaperArtsy stamps. The cutting out was quite a feat though, I can tell you!?
Can't wait for the next challenge now. One of the plus points of being so late with my entry is I've only got to wait until tomorrow!! :oD

I love this tag, Lauren! These stamps are great - so quirky and original. I've taken to using smaller tags these days because it's so difficult to not have that empty look on a Jumbo tag. Thank you so much for joining the Dragons and I'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the next challenge. xx
ReplyDeleteBut it was sooooooooooooooo worth the effort matey

Thanks purple pal. Lx
DeleteJeepers - rather you than me on the puffer fussy cutting, but so worth the effort! I love this tag - a great phrase for the number 9 and cool and steampunky - love it!
ReplyDeleteAlison xx
I've had to cut and paste Alison's comment as my stoopid dog (Archie) decided it was a really good time to jump up for a cuddle JUST as I was about to press publish and I flippin well deleted it. Hmph! Don't you HATE it when that happens :oD
DeleteThanks for your lovely comment Alison. Archie is wearing his "sorry" face now...
Lx
Oh, you surely can't be cross with a Clumber for long! xx
DeleteOh... hang on, I've just seen that Archie is the Staffordshire... but even so!! xx
DeleteWell, quite. It means they BOTH get away with blue murder ALL THE TIME. Both breeds are highly intelligent problem solvers and natural clowns. We are LOST :oD Archie, at least, aims to please. Clumbers on the other hand are renowned for having to be invited to follow instructions. You don't TELL a Clumber anything. You send them a polite request and hope they will acquiesce. If they don't like the tone of your invitation they will let you know by eating your shoes in the night... or whatever else is available. The only proviso is that it has to be something precious to you. No self respecting spaniel will waste it's time on mere chaff. Lx
Delete...but just look at that face.... :oD
DeleteYes, butter wouldn't melt...! xx
DeleteA fabulous tag Lauren, brilliant details and great fussy cutting.
