Another fun challenge over at Mo's and I've used this fun Party Elephant image which I coloured with Copics and decoupaged just for a change. The image is quite frou frou so I've kept the rest of the card fairly simple
Have a Happy Day yourself...

BRIGHTER DAYS....
We could all do with a few of those; right? Though it's pretty gorgeous in Essex today, I must admit.
I've been drooling over Clearly Besotted's beautiful range of stamps and dies for a while now and finally gave into temptation. My first couple of sets arrived the other day and I couldn't wait to rip off the cellophane and get stamping so here's a little card I made out of a few snippets that were lying around on my desk... In hindsight I really wish I'd sewn around the border but this little card was so quick to make I can soon make another one.
Thanks for dropping by. Hope you've got sunshine where you are too.

ANYTHING GOES AT HMFMC164
Woohoo! There's a new challenge at HMFC and I needed to make a thank you card for a lovely chap I know, with a wicked sense of humour; so this fabulous image and corny (groan...) sentiment seemed perfect for the job
I used my Copics to do the colouring
and kept the rest of the card very simple
Here's the inside
Well it made me smile anyway...

Roll Up! Roll Up!
My nephew's birthday is coming to town, along with this gorgeous Whipper Snapper Clown I managed to pick up in the New Year Sales (whoop whoop!). My nephew under 5 so I went for bold and bright with lots of Glossy Accents on that fab car. This was definitely a job for my Copics and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I just hope my nephew likes it too...
Copious use of Glossy Accents give the car dimension and I added a smidgeon of my other crafting staple - Glamour Dust - to the little hearts being fired out of the exhaust... (actually not sure The Nephew will appreciate the hearts but hey)
Glorious day here. Dare I say it feels almost like Spring. I'm off to walk the dogs while it lasts. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

LOTV Monthly Challenge - NAME THAT TUNE
Well no prizes for guessing my "tune" is that old Louis Armstrong classic GONE FISHIN'
I coloured my image with Copics and Prisma Pencils
Here are a few close up's but don't look too closely at my colouring; it needs work...
Love these cute buttons I found in my stash

HMFC 163 - Colour Challenge - Amethyst, white and one other colour
I've squirreled away beautiful papers
for the longest time and it's about time I used some of them. I found this gorgeous orange paper while I was looking for something else (isn't it always the way). Here's what I did with it...
I used a Kraft card base and a deep rusty red as a contrast with the orange paper
I used some Black Soot DI to edge the wings and then sprinkled on some Holographic Embossing Powder for a subtle sparkle

Mo's Challenge 221 - Love Is...
Oh dear! I've got the first challenge jitters...
Here is my card for Mo's Challenge over at DP2 and having checked out the amazing cards that have already been submitted, I'm feeling decidedly wibbly about my own effort!? Still, I enjoyed making it and hopefully I'll improve as time goes on..so here goes...
I coloured in my image using Copic Markers in shades of warm grey; the papers are my all time favourite set from from Pink Petticoat.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
As promised, a few cards to share with you today
A cute House Mouse for my son's Peanut Butter Crazy girlfriend
I used some of the scrummy Teresa Collins papers I showed you yesterday and a fab sentiment from a Clearly Besotted set of stamps (more of that tomorrow when I show you some more Valentines wrapping.
Here's a very quick and simple card using one of my first ever stamps which I believe was a freebie, though I can't remember which magazine it came from. Sorry... I coloured the bear with my Copics and glittered the heart and used foam pads for some dimention. I love this Teresa Collins paper SO MUCH (good job there are three pieces of it in the stack!!)
Isn't he cute!
And last but not least is another Whipper Snapper image coloured in with my Copics. The gorgeous Cupig! The papers are from a favourite DCWV stack.
Thanks for dropping by.

...SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO
It's Valentines Day tomorrow - Yes! Really!! and I've been busy preparing so here are a couple of sneak peeks and a tag
First the sneak peeks
I made quite a few cards for various people (No! Not all FROM me ;oD). Can't reveal until tomorrow for obvious reasons but here are some hints
Here is hubby's Valentines present all wrapped up and ready to go with a cute Whipper Snapper Monkey on the tag. The heart paper is the very last precious piece from a DCWV pad I bought in Florida many moons ago and the little red heart is a die cut with Glossy Accents to make it pop
If I get a chance today I plan to start colouring my image for this week's challenge at Mo's AND I'll be choosing some of these drool-worthy Teresa Collins papers for a few simpler cards...
This is the one that caught my eye
but then when you spread 'em all out how could you choose?
That seems like enough to be getting on with.
Now I'm off to enjoy the sunshine with the dogs. Have a great day whatever you're doing.

New House; New Craft Room and lots of New Crafty Challenges ahead
After a couple of years' break while we moved and sorted out some essential decorating, I'm going to try to get back on the Crafty Hobby Horse. My old blog is getting a bit old and temperamental (a bit like myself) so I thought I'd start over with a brand new bloggy and enter a few of the fantastic crafty challenges that have sprung up lately as well as some of my old favourites.
I haven't got any further than decorating the door of my craft room yet but it's a start :oD The shelving is in and I've had a bit of a sort out so I'm ready for action really.
Mwah ha ha harrrrr!!! Hopefully I can create some magic in my Crafty Room of Requirement. After all this time I can hardly wait
